Fall on the Farm: Why Now's the Perfect Time for a Kona Coffee & Chocolate Tour
As the air starts to cool and the islands settle into their quieter season, there's something special about stepping onto our 5-acre farm in Holualoa. This is where Kona Natural Soap Company's story really begins — not in a factory, but on the land, among the coffee trees and cacao that connect everything we make back to this place.
Since 2005, our founders Marty and Greg have been rooted in the Big Island, building a business around authenticity, sustainability, and craftsmanship. Our farm tour is our favorite way to share that story in person.
What to expect
Our tours run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 AM and last about three hours. They're interactive and informal — a real walk-and-talk through a working farm, not a scripted show. You'll wander among coffee and cacao trees, ask us anything, and get a firsthand look at how Kona coffee and Hawaiian chocolate come to life from harvest to cup.
Afterward, you're welcome to browse our private flagship store on the farm, where we keep curated Hawaiian-made goods you won't find anywhere else — including our handcrafted soaps and pure Kukui Nut Oil, made with the same care as everything grown just steps away.
A slower kind of fall
There's a natural rhythm to autumn here that pairs well with the farm's pace: unhurried, grounded, a little more present. If you're already leaning into cozy routines this season, a morning on the farm is a good way to reconnect with where your favorite Kona products actually come from.
